Society Outing to Bicton Park Gardens, Saturday 23rd June 2018.
We left Kingswood Park at 9.00am and after a comfort stop on the motorway, we reached our destination, Bicton Park Gardens at 12.00pm. The gardens, as expected, were laid out beautifully, with a lot of thought going in to the design. We had a train ride booked for after lunch, which allowed us to see the whole layout of the gardens.
Situated in the middle of the gardens is an agricultural museum. What a superb museum it is, plenty to see and spacious. Returning to the coach, we had a raffle and left at 5.00pm .
The Kingswood History Society would like to thank Quartet Community Foundation for making this day possible. We should also like to thank Ian of Chauffeurhire Coaches, Chipping Sodbury for providing a quality coach and to driver Harry for his attention to detail in every respect.
Here are some photos from our day, I hope you enjoy them!
