Society Trip To Exmouth and Tiverton
On the 23rd of July 2016 members of the Kingswood History Society , boarded their coach for an outing to Exmouth , then on to Tiverton for a two and a half hour trip on the horse drawn barge on the canal. The weather was very kind to us with glorious sunshine all day. We reached Exmouth at eleven o’clock where we had three hours to look around, take lunch or a snack before we left for Tiverton.
Once on board the barge, we enjoyed a very peaceful trip on the canal. With every one commenting what a great day it had been, we left at six o’clock for the return trip back to Kingswood. Our thanks to the coach firm Chauffeur Hire of Chipping Sodbury for providing such a quality coach and very nice driver which all helped make for an enjoyable day out.
