On Saturday 5th July 2014 42 members and friends enjoyed their annual outing to the Milestones Museum on the outskirts of Basingstoke, Hampshire. We arrived at 11am and were not disappointed with what we found, a very well laid out and interesting museum.

After lunch, taken in the museum we then boarded our coach for a visit to the Watercress Railway. This ran from Alton to Alresford a distance of 10 miles with some beautiful views over the Hampshire countryside.

Upon reaching our destination we had time to have a look around the town centre take in a coffee or beer before returning home.

A really nice day out.
